Had higher expectations, but still good

The fireplace stuck out more than I expected, but my fault for not looking at the measurements. My downstairs is an open floor plan of about 650 sq feet.. I still need to turn on my house heat to start feeling a little warmer. Our first floor is much colder than the upstairs bedrooms. We wanted to get this so we don't drain our oil trying to get warm downstairs. However, this did not do its job. I would definitely recommend it for an enclosed area, not for an open floor plan.
