Great Looking Mantel Shelf

We were so pleased at the good condition in which the mantel arrived, and the shipping charge ($10) was amazingly reasonable. The only disappointment is that the bottom of the mantel is covered with a cheap-looking veneer that is simply stapled on. We will have to do some finesse-ing to get it to look as good as the rest of the mantel. (And the bottom IS visible to people sitting in the nearby recliners!)
