For oudoor furniture heavier is better. These chairs were easy to put together, feel solid and rock smoothly and should last a long, long time. The only thing that might be a problem initially is the amount of oil rubbed on the wood. I would recommend using a seat pad until it soaks in completely.

Very impressed with shipping time and the chairs are nice. One of the chairs the seat is really light compared to its mate. Also found that one of the arm rest supports was not stained at all. We also found that the chairs were very easy to put together however 2 of the wood screws were unusable. We are still waiting on the table to arrive.
