I am very pleased with the quality of this swing. The ease with which it took to assemble was surprising. I had only one difficulty...the chains are rather short. I had to purchase additional hardware to drop it low enough for a shorter person to use the swing. I suggest speaking to a CSR to find out if you can get longer chains.

I love the set, however no directions came with how the canopy top comes together. And the problem we're having is one of the horizontal pieces that came with the canopy top is shorter by 4" than the other horizontal piece. So one side connects but, of course the other side does not. It's Saturday and nobody is answering the phone at Hayneedle. We've put 5 hours into putting this thing together and we don't know if we perhaps got a short horizontal piece by mistake or we're doing something wrong. If anyone out there can help us we'd appreciate it.

I bought this on sale and because of the price. I put it together myself with a little help from my grandfather. For girl I am pretty handy. The instructions were easy to follow after studying them. It is not luxury seating but it is comfortable. It seems pretty stable. It is a nice swing.

Nice heavy duty frame,cusion is a little thin for my taste.a good deal for the price everyone likes it.
