Well, for the money, this is a beautiful decanter which works well with my aerator. It says it is made in the tradition of Bohemians/Ireland. It is actually made in China. If you don't mind that it is not actually cut crystal, but pressed, then you will love it. The stopper fits well.

i got this as a gift for my bosses (married couple). they love wine and i felt a carafe would be the perfect way to show appreciation. it is sturdy glass, thick and nice. i love it. was packed well. came on time. very satisfied.

I am very pleased with all five of the decanters puchased from Barware. They are very attractive and really add so much to the bar area in our home. The cluttered look of whiskey bottles is gone! The prices are very resonable and I will certainly buy more decanters in the future as gifts.

My husband has become a wine affectionado in the last couple of years, particularly red wine. To let the wine "breathe" we would just open the bottle and let it sit because we didn't want to spoil it by pouring it into a plastic container. I got the Ravenscroft Rooster Decanter for him for his birthday and he is very impressed. It feels very solid to the hand and is very attractive as a centerpiece on the table. There is such a difference between glass and crystal! It pours easily back into the bottle thanks to the shape of the spout and good thing because red wine stains are no fun to get out. It's also very easy to clean - just don't put it in the dishwasher! I treat this like I do the rest of my crystal. We're thrilled with it and I will likely buy another as a gift for someone else.
