This is my first pair of premium binoculars and I don't think I could have made a better purchase. They are very clear,very comfortable to hold, and the extra value is they look great.

All images are clear and crisp, I would have like to have the opportunity of physically comparing the Diamondback to the Viper HD. I'm still toying with the idea of ordering the Vipers, comparing the two and returning the one I chose not to keep. It's hard to believe that the Vipers are 3X better than the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are as good if not better than an older pair of Nikons I had that cost more than twice the price.

My second set of Alpens. The first were some cheap compact ones, which were surprisingly decent especially considering the price. This set, for the money, is very good as well. Clear and crisp images with decent dusk time veiwing. My daughter and I live on a golf course and enjoy going out after it is closed for the day, check out the wild life. We have seen some typical birds, many rabbits, and a few armadillos. The first day I received the I noticed a bird circling high up and could only make out a silhouette. Using these binocs I focused in to see a bald eagle. It was awesome seeing it so clearly. We also used it to watch the last rocket launch from Cape Canveral and it worked well. For the money and warranty these are a great small starter set. I may give them to my 8 year old daughter and upgrade soon. Also, for Father's Day I just ordered a 10X25 ED Wings compact set for my father. Now I will have something to compare for my next purchase.
