Awesome Desk and Hutch

I researched desks for a couple of months and I kept coming back to this one. I am retiring soon and needed a desk to do my ancestry research on and to get my computer off of the dining room table. This will make my wife happy. I was very pleased when I assembled the desk; the instructions were very simple and very easy to follow. Everything went together perfectly and I never cussed once while assembling it. To be honest it was pretty fun to do. The desk is heavy which I think is a good thing and is very sturdy. I was a little surprised with the antique white color it wasn't quite what I had expected but I do like it and it fits in with the way I am decorating my ancestry room. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a large desk and if they don't need to move it around. I am also planning to buy the filing cabinet that matches this desk.

Great looking desk, the instructions, packing and assembly were all top quality. I am still amazed at how well this was packed. And it all went together easily (though took me about 2 hours) with well labeled materials and hardware.

I had limited space for a second desk in my office and this desk is the perfect solution for the price. The keyboard is wide enough to accomidate a mouse and deep enough to store things behind the keyboard. It was not difficult to assemble [for a 61 year old grandma]. I did require help with the last step of attaching the top [instructions have you assemble it upside down]

This desk is VERY heavy! It took me 6 hours to put it together by myself, but I needed help to lift it up. I wouldn't recommend moving it more than you have to. It's very sturdy, but it's just particle board.
It is also very big! It's almost 5 feel wide, so be sure you have room for it.
I really love it so far. It's beautiful - it looks like a $2000 desk for a fraction of the price. There is plenty of leg room, though I did have to remove the sliding shelf for the keyboard because I need my chair to be partially under the desk at times and the chair arms hit the shelf. I keep the mouse and keyboard on top of the desk.
