I have about 400 DVD's and some CD's. I used to keep them in bookshelves, but I ran out of bookshelf space. I started putting DVD's in sideways on the top of the other DVD's.. it was a mess. I didn't want some huge piece of furniture to put the DVD's in because I recently moved to a home where my den (movie room) is about average in size, but there isn't much wall space. I needed something sturdy, something that looked really nice and something that held a lot of movies. I don't like to order expensive items on line because if there is a problem, it's so hard to return the item. But I took a chance with this tower. I absolutely love it! It spins very easily. I was afraid it might tip over easily, but I don't think it would tip over even if I pushed it! It looks very nice. There are no chips of paint taken out or messed up shelves or missing parts to assemble the tower correctly. My husband put it together with no problem. I have received compliments on it when people come over. I store my DVD's with the kids' movies on the bottom so I don't have to bend down or sit on the floor to look for movies I like to watch. It's not too tall that I have to stand on something to reach or read the top movies. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

First, let me say, I really like this media tower. The only down side was the capacity for VHS tapes. That's right, I still have VHS tapes. It was claimed to have a capacity for 308 tapes, not so. I almost filled up the media tower with 265 tapes. 280 tapes would be pushing the envelope, other than that, this is a great piece of furniture. I will be purchasing 2 more for my DVD and CD storage. I would also add, from the time I unpacked the box to full construction was about 90 minutes. A real easy put together.
Just what I needed

This cabinet will begin to take up the overflow in my CD and DVD collection. It's solidly built and displays the items nicely. Just be aware that you do need to install the feet. Screws are supplied, and the feet are pre-drilled for them. I suggest that you drill pilot holes into the base of the side panels before installing the screws. I also recommend a power screwdriver.
