Kangaroo Wombat Embroidery Cabinet

The cabinet arrived in four (very heavy) boxes and a box for the free chair. Fed Ex delivers to the door, so if you are unable to lift and carry large 50-60 lb. boxes into your home, I recommend you have assistance at hand. All the parts were accounted for, and they were in good condition. Everything fit together well, no amendments were needed. This is a daunting project for one person. It took three days to put together with the limited hours we had available. I recommend a helper. At one point, after assembling the cabinet with side flaps, you will have to pick the whole thing up off the floor to set it up. That being said, this cabinet is quite large, wow! I am impressed, in spite of the particle board. It looks very nice, and seems quite sturdy. There is a good amount of storage space, and there is a slide out shelf inside the top drawer. At this point, I don't know if that will be helpful or a hindrance. I really like the drawers instead of a cabinet underneath. It makes things easier to reach. Just so you know, this embroidery cabinet was 'born in Australia, made in China.' I have no regrets about purchasing it. Other styles of embroidery cabinets are much more costly by hundreds of dollars. Really, the only thing this cabinet is missing is the cut out area if you are going to use a cap embroidery attachment. A person could easily remedy this by constructing a simple machine lift using 4x4's with divits gouged out to support the machine feet. I am rating with four stars instead of five, only due to the time/effort required for constructing the cabinet.

This is a really wonderful piece of furniture. Very, very heavy to carry up the stairs. Also, took me four hours to put together. I didn't hurry and at times I felt like I was playing Twister, trying to get the pieces screwed in and hold them at the same time. But, all-in-all, really love it. Great for the price and it looks just like the picture. Felt like I had accomplished something when it was all done.

Arrow Bertha Sewing Cabinet

I have own a Bertha 1630 for years, and this is the best cabinet i have find. It fixs like a dreams, and makes sewing so much better when it fixs right in a cabinet. This cabinet is perfect for anyone that has a Bertha.

Finally! I have turned a spare bedroom into a sewing room and this cabinet is wonderful, it is very large and I am able to put both my sewing and embroidery machines up at the same time. It is very sturdy and easy to move with the wheels. Assembly was a challenge at times because the directions are not very clear, and the pieces are very heavy. you will need assistance towards the end of assembly. I would highly recommend this product. especially if you can get the free shipping because it is appx 120 lbs. and comes in 2 boxes.
