Takes about an hour to assemble which is easily accomplished. Frame is very sturdy. Color is a powdery white, not shiny, which I really like. Fits nicely in a small room and adds a feminine touch to a little girl's bedroom.

Ordered this daybed on a Saturday evening and received it on Wednesday afternoon. It was in three boxes, each one with the pieces to the daybed wrapped and cushioned. There wasn't one scratch or flaw in any of the pieces and the bed is as sturdy as it is beautiful. So pleased with this purchase and it matches my other bedroom furniture perfectly.

Bought this in white as my daughter's first "big girl" bed. It's simple, lovely, easy to assemble & sturdy. The mattress is supported by a series of slats that are connected by nylon webbing. We put a "bunkie board" on top of the slats to give extra support to the organic foam mattress we bought to replace the free inner spring mattress that came with the bed (we put that one in the trundle for now). The trundle rolls smoothly even on our carpet which was a relief. Originally one of the major pieces (the back panel) came warped and splintered. Hayneedle customer support was a great help and was able to ship out a replacement immediately. It was a bummer to wait since we had already disassembled out daughter's toddler bed, so she was stuck on her toddler mattress on the floor for a week, but it worked out fine. You may be wondering why I would still give the bed a 5-Star rating when a piece came in such bad shape, but it really looked like somehow the piece must have been damaged by moisture or something in warehouse storage - the replacement piece came perfect and we've been using the bed for over 6 months now with no indication that this bed will not last until my daughter is grown.

Wonderful chai to either curl up with a friend or alone. I spread the Sunday paper out on the big ottoman. I added a couple large colorful pillows of my own to accent. Only things are it only comes in white, seat back is a bit low, and the seat and ottoman cushions are a bit puckered from the stitching. All easily ignored, its just too great a seat.
