I purchased two of these chairs and am delighted with them. They arrived packaged so that parts would not rub and develop scratches or other marks.They are well constructed and the wood is very attractive. I plan to use teak oil on them. You may have noticed I put down assembly as both easy and tough. I thought you might enjoy why I did so. Overall the assembly is quite easy as the tolerances on pre-drilled holes are good and things line up nicely. There was one exception. The instructions for Step 2 says 'Locate the small label on the bottom of the seat that reads "front"... ' Only problem is the small label does not say "front" but says "back". You might think this is OK and indcates the back of the seat. You would be wrong. I assembled the first chair putting the "back" label in the back. The screw holes on the seat did not line up with the pre-drilled starter holes on the arm/sides. So I popped the seat and examined it. It was obvious on inspection that they label saying "back" was actually the front of the seat. After I reversed the seat the assembly went quickly. It also went quickly for the second chair as I ignored the words and put the "back" label in the front. I concluded that whoever put on the label: doesn't know English; didn't read the instructions; or doesn't know 'front' from 'back'. This would just be a funny story except it calls into question the quality control and final inspection of the product before it is shipped. I would definitely recommend this product. Just look at the shape of the seat to determine front from back.

I've bought 2 of these over the winter and the second arrived with a little damage...no questions asked they replaced it and took care of the shipping return and the new. You get to know a company when you have problems...do they deal straight up or take the nickel and run...hay needle took care of me. The umbrella's are nice...no pulley system but I realized I didn't like the strings hanging in my face (old one I replaced)...the fame does seem like a little stronger wood could have been used...hopefully no problems...fabric sunbrella....best their is...
