Many of the reviews claim the caps on the nuts will pop off and the holes do not line up properly during assembly. This is true if you over tighten the nuts in step one. If you do not over tighten the nuts, and leave some "wiggle room" while assembling the rails, the holes will line up much easier. After full assembly, you can then go back and tighten any nuts to your preference. This worked great for me and my teenage son, and came together for a beautiful bridge. It seems very durable and looks wonderful in our garden path.

When we received the first bridge, I was delighted to see it. It looks adorable over our tiny creek. However, the box arrived missing pieces and the base was bent. When I contacted customer service they sent me an RMA. OK, no problem. By the time the new bridge arrived, the old bridge was already rusty. It was only 2 weeks! The new bridge arrived in a busted up box. I didn't even bother to open it. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED! It was the perfect little size and looked so pretty, but it's a piece of garbage, especially for the price!

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

I love this bridge. I found that it as easy to put together by myself in about a 1/2 hour. For those who say the holes do not line up, remember not to tighten the nuts too tight until all bolts and nuts are in place. Then you have the wiggle room you need. My only complaint is that when you do tighten the nuts down the caps break off. I hit them with a little matching rust proofing paint and hopefully it will be fine. Also be careful the nuts and bolts were also loose in my box. I built my bridge outside in the gravel and I could of lost a bolt or nut, but thankfully didn't. The bridge is just perfect for my Needs and now I am considering purchasing the next size up to go across my pond. This one went across a dry creek bed that connects garden to patio.

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

Absolutely love this litte bridge! It fit perfect where I wanted it. I did take precaution as I read other reviews of the weld spots rusting so I went and bought clear rustoleum spray and put two coats on before we put it in place. The extra $10 for the spray and a few minutes to spray it was well worth it.

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

Perfect size bridge to go across our man made creek bed. We wanted to change out our wooden bridge and switch to metal so we wouldn't have to keep replacing the boards every few years. Good quality and the rails are beautiful. The screws are too long so you will have to buy some washers. We found enough around the garage to fix the problem.

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

The bridge was delivered quickly and was packaged very well. No damage or missing parts. Assembly was very easy. The treads were already attached to the base bottom structure, just had to join 2 base bottoms together and attach railings to the sites. Assembly completed in less than 30 minutes and done by myself without needing 2nd person. Used this bridge to replace a wooden bridge that was showing signs of rot. Hopefully the metal construction will give me years of enjoyment!

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

I bought this as a replacement for one that had wood slats that rotted out. Being metal this should last a lot longer. Since we just set it up a week ago...time will tell. It was easy to put together although a couple of the bolts were too long and popped a hole in the caps. Fortunately, they included a couple extras. The bridge is stable and I love the way it looks over my dry rock bed. I must say it looks best from a few feet away.

Comments about Willow Creek 6-ft. Metal Garden Bridge:

Bought this to replace an aged wooden bridge over the stream that runs between two ponds. Read other reviews and was a bit cautious. Delivery was good. No obvious damage. Going forward I made the following modifications. As many commented in other reviews the bolts were too long for the type of nuts - causing the potential for the caps on the nuts to be pushed off. Bad design! So I bought extra washers and was able to prevent that happening by adding those washers behind the bolts. Next, the first moisture caused rusting in the welds. I sprayed all the welds with Rustoleum rust killer and then painted over that with dark brown Rustoleum paint that virtually matched the original. Total cost all that probably around $10 - $12. I suspect I will need to spray paint it again in a year or two - but that is relatively cheap. It is a pretty bridge and wide enough to push my mover over. Very solid to walk over.
