About the Hinkle Chair Company
Buying a Hinkle rocking chair means you're getting a time tested design that will last for generations. For five generations, since 1834, the Hinkle family has been making quality hardwood furniture in the same location in Springfield, Tenn. What started with ladder back chairs has evolved to include rocking chairs, and since 1932 the Hinkle family has been producing chairs full time. By 1948, Hinkle Chair Company had 16 full-time employees that could produce an incredible 200 chairs per day. By 1996 Hinkle Chair Company built two new facilities to keep up with production. They are now able to meet the demands of the rocking chair market as well as offer new and exciting products.

I already have two single rockers on the front covered porch. I was looking for a bench to match. I finally found this bench. It is very sturdy and looks great! I wouldn't say its comfortable. Assembly was fairly staright forward. The only problem we had was attaching the seat to the base. The predrilled holes did not line up and we had to go directly into the wood. Overall I am satisified with my purchase as I will not be using it heavily.

Searched internet for the perfect looking rocker for my front porch, when it arrived there were no instructions, no arms, and no rocker. I'm still waiting for parts and/or some sort of communication to let me know when they will arrive. Besides that, I think I'm going to really like it! Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
