I purchased this case for looks first and then function. It meets the looks criteria very well and the function not so good. A company in Maine manufactures the best functional cases on the market, of which I own two; benchmarks for travel and organization. I've travelled through Russia and Europe with both. This case by Scully is stylish and functional for limited carry such as as home to office & back. The strap is poorly designed,constructed and I'm looking for a replacement. The strap precludes hands-free carry -unfortunate feature at the price. This Scully is a good case for show but I will be going back to Freeport, Maine for my next case.

This briefcase was even better than I expected. It is, beautiful leather, and well organized.
If I have one complaint, it is that heavier laptops seem to put a strain on the buckles.
But, all in all, I love it!
