Description

Crafted from solid wood, it has a warm antique walnut finish, clear glass door inserts, and metal hardware in a satin nickel finish. I bought 7 of these cabinets for my media room, since I have a large collection of DVDs and didn't want one or two big oversized cabinets. [...] It actually took more time to unpack the pieces than it did to assemble the cabinet...which was very quick and easy. Each cabinet offers plenty of storage. My only con/complaint is they should have made the cabinet 2-3 inches taller. Cases fit on the shelves, unless it is in a certain type box set, but a little extra space would be nice; AND, the top shelf looses about 3 inches in storage width/accessibility due to the door magnets (unless you want to remove several cases to take out the one you're trying to get).

Ordered two of these to go with my TV stand and I regret it. They are cheaply made and you can tell the manufacturer repaired many areas by using wood glue to bond the broken parts together. This stand is also not very sturdy. The only positive is it does hold DVDs.

Finish is rough in a few spots but overall a nice addition to our living room for our Blu-Ray DVD's. Easy to assemble, less than 15 minutes for someone comfortable with a screwdriver and allen wrenchs. Only complaint is that the 2 of the screws were stripped on the pre-installed door hinges.

For the price I am guite pleased how nice this is and it was easy to put together. I got two and put one on each side of big screen TV.
I would recommend securing to wall if you have any children selecting their own movies. Distribute dvds throughout so it does not become top heavy and may topple over. I read the reviews and took the advice. It is solid wood, except back. The walnut color gives it a rich look and is a really nice piece to add to any decor. I wished they had it in a larger size, that is why I got two. Quick ship and no damage when received.
