You must make sure you do not overtighten the screws and strip them,and make sure you have the correct length screw so as not to poke thru
to work surface.A mistake I have made on another
product,also do not lean on or pick up by edges of work top.

I use this product for industrial designs, drafting, and line drawings. This platform has been very useful meeting all the standard drafting requirements to make the designing process more convenient for the artists. I strongly recommend this product for any artist who is looking for a affordable drawing platform. The only thing that subtracted from this purchase is the difficult assembly and if you do not have a electric wood drill, expect the assembly time to triple doing it by hand.

I'm an architecture student. This was a great way to avoid fighting for a table in the design studio. Its perfect for my cramped apartment and allows me to take in home without any hassle. The larger tabletop requires me to flip down the seat of my smaller car, but it fits. For the price you can't beat it. Stable and sturdy.
