We were looking for a porch swing that would be durable and came in the color we wanted (white), and we were not disappointed. I originally considered another lower priced one, but some reviews indicated that the wood included finger-jointed construction, which concerned me, so I started looking at some of the non-wood swings. Eventually I found this one, which was less expensive than the plastic ones, and seems to be very sturdy construction. [...] Assembly was very easy. The only complaint I have is that the chain supplied with the swing was not long enough for the 8-foot ceiling on our porch, and left the swing hanging too high. I was able to remedy that by buying two 1-foot pieces of chain and some connecting hardware. Aside from that, all I can say is it looks great, seems very sturdy, and has a very durable paint finish. We absolutely made the right choice.

This is a cozy, comfy traditional porch swing. We are, you might say, a bigger than average couple, and we both fit snugly but comfortably on this swing. We sit on it in the evenings to relax and watch the sunsets. Puts a little romance in our lives!

We hung this porch swing on our front porch. So relaxing. We use it in the morning and I also love to swing in the evening after work. I am so glad that I purchased this swing. I recommend it very highly. It is comfortable and attractive ,very easy to hang.

For years I've wanted to replace the glider swing on our front porch with a hanging swing like we'd had before. Now I am loving the time spent in this swing. It is expecially nice when one of my grandchildren join me in this relaxing pasttime of swinging.
