With a sleek silver finish and hip geometric design, this daybed will ramp up the contemporary edge of any space. The straight and sturdy metal frame is offset by interior circles to deliver a clean, polished appearance. Push your design tastes to the limit with this cutting-edge piece from the Fashion Bed Group. Link spring mattress support is included with daybed purchase. Add the optional trundle and one or two mattresses to suit your needs.
A light blue quilted polyester cover encloses a combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils that provide both comfort and support. Fiber pad insulators keep the inner mattress core and outer upholstery layers securely in place. Mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards. Twin measures 74L x 38W x 6H inches.
Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it'll be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King mattress connector is available for purchase in the shopping cart.

This bed is great. I just moved into a small apartment, and to save space, I decided to go with this daybed as my primary bed. I saved money on the twin mattress (over a full), I didn't have to buy a useless box spring, and my sheets were cheaper to buy too. It's stylish and sturdy, and since I didn't buy a trundle, I use the bottom area for storage. Be warned, though--the color in the picture is not the real color. It's not silver, but more of a silvery-brown (one website called it champaign).

I have not yet received the Astoria daybed, but have received the mattresses. Online, it says the mattresses are 6" high; these are 4" and garbage. They're the kind you would find on a convertible couch - which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I saw this daybed in a store & the online picture also shows a reasonably sized mattress. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with this product.

I am using this as my primary bed because of my room size, but it is roomy and comfortable. I will add the pop-up trundle soon. The design is interesting and unique and the frame is very sturdy. I put it together by myself in less than 2 hours.
