I searched all over and this was the best value for the price on firepits under $500. The flame is nice and strong. and the firepit is good sized. It was taller than I expected. I was imagining more of a coffee table dimension.
A lava rock or piece of metal was loose inside the packaging as it wasn't packaged well. There are various major scratches in the finish because of this. It went together pretty quickly but the lid did not fit flush in the top and needed to be adjusted.
I wish it was packaged better because now I have gouges on it :(

When assembled, a rather attractive and sturdy piece. Unfortunately, until assembled, it was a mixed bag.
Most of the parts are folded sheet metal. Most of those had a bent corner or were somewhat warped. The bent corners could be bent back, and the warped pieces straightened out upon assembly. In addition, the amount of lava rock supplied could just barely fill the inner circle is the burner.
Expect to bend some metal and look for additional lava rocks (or use fire glass rocks)

My husband put together our fire pit in a couple hours. There was a tiny what almost looked like a scratch on the top but I think it is glue. Overall it looks amazing! I was reading some of the reviews and the only common complaint was not enough lava rock. We used what came with it and then covered the top of it with beautiful blue-teal crushed glass. The heat that it puts out is just enough. I know we are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of this fire pit!

I have not used this yet, but it was easy to assemble, materials and finish are better than I expected and it is a very solid product when assembled. The shipping box was damaged and there were a few small bends in the pieces as other reviewers mentioned, but the damage was easily fixed. Shipping was fast and on-time. Looking forward to a break in the weather so we can enjoy the fire.

Today was our first beautiful spring day so I put this fire pit together and we had a nice supper out on the deck tonight beside it. Exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy and I hope it will last a long time..... since we love sitting out on the deck.

The fire pit arrived sooner than expected, the only problem was that the box was too heavy that the delivery service had to drag it all over the place and it got damaged, so I had some pieces slightly bent, fortunately nothing show ones the piece was assembled, overall was a great buy
