Comments about Barska 18-90x88 Benchmark DFS Waterproof Spotting Scope:

This is my first scope, and I shopped around alot. This is great for it's large objective lens and wide zoom range. It is difficult to find a water and fog-proof scope that is any better in this price range. Easily handheld up to about 50X magnification, get a tripod for anything over that. The wierd turn to focus feature concerned me, but works just fine. Don't be shocked if the image is hazy at 90x mag. - if you are looking far away and through alot of warm air, it's not the scope. Try again in cool morning air and it gets clearer. Love the carrying cases and the handle attachment, hate the tiny table tripod - think of it only as a display stand. I use the handle with my elbows proped up on my knees for birding. Steady enough for that.
