Well It's a good product, my mom was just complaining on how the bars seemed cheap and weak. We bought some plywood and put it under the mattress so that the there won't be any possible dents in the future. I hope that my futon stays in a good shape because I really plan on using it for college and in my future. It's a nice, cheap, easy solution for anyone who is looking for a futon for their child and doesn't want to pay big bucks. A great beginner!

This futon is not good for use in the long run. Used as spare bed occupied very sparingly and you will obtain superior service for the price paid. However, if need prevails and this futon is called upon to be your primary source of slumber, may your expectations be very well-informed - this item is not worth the price paid. The frame is rickety and the mattress breaks down very quickly, in fact, it only took a couple of months after using the product that I found myself sleeping on the rickety frame as much as I was sleeping on the mattress. The mattress is now so flat that it would be perfect for use as an outdoor bed roll for camping. If you're going to buy this futon, you should immediately invest in a better, thicker mattress. Do this and you should receive much more quality service out of the product.

I spent a few hours reading reviews and browsing several sites before I settled on this futon. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something functional. Today, after spending about an hour and a half constructing the futon, I discovered that it was both shorter and lower quality than I had expected. It was advertised as 78" long, I received a 74", and inside the frame it is 70". Do not expect anyone 5'8" or over to be able to sleep comfortably on this futon. Many of the key structural components are assembled with wood screws and feels low quality. Also the mattress has a distinct chemical odor, hopefully it will diminish in the next days.

We haven't used the futon yet because of a couple of missing parts to complete the assembly. The assembly was relatively easy.

I put this futon on my 3rd floor, where it is very difficult to get things up the narrow stairway. I purposely bought something that needed to be put together. Assembly was somewhat challenging, but not terrible. I am very happy with the comfort level and functionality of the futon. It is also bigger than I expected. Worked perfectly for my needs.
