I was nervous buying something I couldn't see or touch but so glad I took the chance. It arrived very well packaged and protected. The only assembly is attaching the legs which took my husband a few mins.
The marble top comes attached to the vanity. The backsplash is separate for attaching after install if you want. It is pre-drilled for a 4" spread faucet. I will use a single handle faucet with a plate to hide the extra holes. The marble top has a decorative edge which adds to the design but also makes about an inch less usable space on top.
The vanity is well made (husband is a carpenters son and a welder fabricator and he's happy with the construction). Actual vanity box is 24" wide with 1/2" decorative panels on each side and a 1 and 1/2" marble overhang on each side. The back has a cut out in the center of the box 8" wide for the plumbing. Keep in mind if you're replacing an older vanity, this is taller than the older vanities so you may need to move the plumbing. The distance from floor to bottom of vanity where the cut out is measures 17".
Overall, this is a stellar buy if you're looking for style at a reasonable price.
