Comments about Arboria Berkeley 7.25-ft. Cedar Pergola Arbor:

This is a beautiful, nicely sanded, aromatic piece of cedar construction, very well made and BIG, the only arbor I found at 60" wide so my riding mower can fit thru. American made is a huge plus. So is the phone number so you can call and get help with the instructions. Assembly definitely requires more than one person, or a lot of chairs to balance the thing while setting all the screws. But after the struggle, everyone who sees it will rave about how great it looks.

        Only issues I had were:

~ The almost-easy-to-follow instructions. Better be native English speaker and really patient enough to re-read certain passages many times. Would be nice & easy to say "Just make sure staple crowns face outward." Everybody that buys this doesn't own a millwork company or have a crew of helpers.

~ Why not pre-drill the holes for the ground spikes while you're doing all the others? Would make putting those on correctly a lot easier.

~ The bizarre STAR-SHAPED SCREW HEADS. What??! Never seen these before in my life, and I'm 52. Hilarious that the box says "Easy Assembly with just a screwdriver"; it should add, "one that you most likely do not own." Amazing that no reviewer has mentioned this until now, so to all considering this arbor, you're welcome. I'd say still buy it for sure, but the company could mention in the description that you will probably need to go out and buy a new bit for your screwdriver. Better yet, why not just switch to Phillips screws and save everyone the hassle? These other things are not necessary, just irritating.

Still worth mentioning, at the end you will be totally glad you put this up.

Comments about Arboria Berkeley 7.25-ft. Cedar Pergola Arbor:

I have a millwork and interior construction company so I have seen allot of wood. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the western cedar used in this product. The construction and joinery is first rate. I could not have done better myself.

Comments about Arboria Berkeley 7.25-ft. Cedar Pergola Arbor:

A very classic, sturdy arbor that looks beautiful with my Cape Cod style house. I actually expanded it even wider by making 2 new top pieces so it would fit my space better. Fairly straightforward to assemble, although a little tricky getting it square. I definitely could not have done it by myself. I used the arbor on the edge of a large deck. I have the smaller arbor also out in the garden. From the deck it is a beautiful frame within a frame. I painted the arbors white.

Comments about Arboria Berkeley 7.25-ft. Cedar Pergola Arbor:

[...] It's very well made, sturdy and attractive. My husband is a do-it-yourself and put the arbor together himself. I helped with the top caps. We stained it with a clear stain, but the cedar wood is very attractive, so more a personal preference. We haven't installed it yet, but directions are clear on how to do that. This was the only arbor we found that was wide enough for our 5 foot walkway.
