I put this chair together yesterday, and it took me HOURS. I had to go to the local hardware store to get more screws, since half the screws in the slatted sections were pulled out and the wood was broken. There are cracks, crazings, chips, and a quarter-sized spot on the top of one arm that looks like they tried to cover it with paint, and failed. I'm afraid to sit in it, so maybe I'll put a plant on it instead. Junk. Save your money and buy American.

This is a smaller light weight chair with a clever pull-out ottoman design. I wish the bolts were stainless steel as we have a beach house and I suspect the bolts will rust even though we will not leave outdoors year round.

The chairs needed assembly. I like projects like these. I open up the box and out comes multiple bags of screws. Some have their corresponding numbers from the instructions. And some had no numbers. So get out you tape measure to match it up. The instructions were not written by foreignors but if you folow the pictures it is easy to follow. I was shorted screws which were easily replaced by a trip to [@]. One part was cut too wide and had to be shaved to fit. The biggest disappointment is the paint job. Parts of the chair were missed by the painter and were matte in finish versus high gloss on the rest of the chair. Parts of the arm which was missed was rough versus the smooth of the high gloss. The wood must have been waste wood as some were gouged and mangled. For [$] dollars per chair, I would have expected more. But I guess you pay for hat you get. I would pay more and go with the resin style chair. It will look better and surly last longer. I doubt these chairs will last longer than 2 - 3 years without attention.
