Instructions clearly state to call a 1-888 number included in the assembly instructions if you have problems with damaged or missing parts. I called the number and was told they do not carry spare parts(a fasterner had broken). This is very poor customer service and I would not recommend any purchases from this company.

Came almost a week before it said it would arrive.
All parts smooth and undamaged.
It was fairly easy to assemble, and a handyman I am not.
My 2 year loves it, and that's all that really matters.

My package arrived 5 days before the expected delivery date. Everything was in one piece, it was as fairly easy to assemble, and the product was as sturdy as oak....which is what it's made of. First time using Hayneedle.....I'll return if I they have what I'm looking for.

I bought this chest to provide storage for sweaters, and I was amazed at the amount of space - I will probably have room for bedding as well. Chest was solidly constructed and not too difficult to assemble, though it certainly helped to have a handy strong person around. The base cedar boards were not very tight (to let the air in?) but smell delicious and hopefully will repel moths. The oak veneer was a little lighter than pictured but very high quality, and I liked the solid oak supports with their subtle goovings. In a small bedroom this bench not only provides storage but extra seating space.
