Offer your guests coffee, along with dinner and a show, with the Bodum Pebo Vacuum Coffee Maker. Entertaining to watch, its exceptionally effective vacuum brewing method extracts all precious oils of your favorite coffee. The vacuum brewing process is entirely sealed, and the brewing time and temperature are perfectly calibrated, ensuring a perfect cup of coffee with each brew. Monitor the science lab-like brewing process through the two firmly attached glass bowls. Water boils up through the tube into the globe and brews the coffee. When brewing is complete and the carafe has been taken off the stovetop and set into its accompanying sculpted trivet, the coffee drains through the filter into the carafe. The globe can then be lifted off the carafe and set on its stand, and coffee can be poured from the carafe, which has a stay-cool handle.
In 1944, Peter Bodum founded a company in Copenhagen, Denmark, focused on developing visually appealing products with endless functionality. By the 1960s, Bodum was already achieving international success. In 1974, Peter's son, Jorgen, created and launched the company's first coffee press. Bodum's Bistro French Coffee Press is now the most environmentally friendly coffee maker in existence, receiving numerous awards from international media outlets.
Since 1974, Bodum has leapt forward consistently, establishing in-house design teams, founding stores worldwide, entering the electrical appliance market, and more. And with each leap, the company remains rooted in Peter Bodum's 1944 vision to create beautiful products with fantastic function.
