Beautiful looking coop!!! Nice wood! Easy to assemble! Chickens love it :). I love the easy cleanup tray and easy open/close pull handle. I can put the food in the pen and then let the chickens in the pen without them charging lol I love it, it's so cute!!!!

When looking for coops we were either finding ones for a few hundred dollars, like this one, or ones starting at $1K. Since this is our first time having our own chickens we thought we'd go with a cheaper one to see how things went before we started spending the big bucks. I will say that it is a beautiful looking coop, but that's about all it has to offer. One of the pieces on the top ridge of the coop was broken when we got it (the box had no outside damage, btw). Things don't quite line up completely. The finish on it is kinda a joke. No water beads up on it, so it's not going to withstand any weather. We did put some sealer on it to try and prolong its life. We received this in May and four months later it is already starting to get wobbly. We're hoping it makes it through the winter, but we are definitely going to have to do a lot of reinforcement. It doesn't show it in the pics, but the top of the coop opens up. On windy days we've had the top blow completely open. We use a bungee cord to keep it closed. The pull out try arrived a bit warped. The coating on it is starting to wear off. If you put anything down to try and protect it, like wood shavings, they are mostly wiped off when you pull the tray out to clean it. We were hoping to get two years out of this, but I'm just hoping it will last through the winter. As for size, I would say three chickens max. Do more fit? Absolutely, but I don't believe it's really enough room for the chickens to be content. We made a temporary run for them out of PVC and chicken wire to go in during the day and then they return to their coop at night. I am surprised at the high ratings this coop has gotten. It's why we decided to go with this one in the first place, but I wish we hadn't. You can get a coop just as poorly made as this one for under $200 at a farm store.

Comments about Boomer & George Tree-Tops Chicken Coop:

The workmanship on this chicken coop is first class. Assembly was very easy and all parts fit perfect. Ordered the wheel kit and it fits nicely on this coop. Wish I has ordered 2 of these instead of l of this style and 1 by another company that looks like a red barn.

        Great looking coop

Comments about Boomer & George Tree-Tops Chicken Coop:

Well packaged, arrived on time, coop went together easily thanks to pre-drilled holes. Written instructions were imprecise. This coop is good looking and the chickens will probably like it. Definitely not designed for withstanding winter weather. Mine is in my garage for year round use.

Comments about Boomer & George Tree-Tops Chicken Coop:

Just received my chicken coop. Was on back order took 3 weeks to get..Once got it, put in up same day..did it by myseld but should have 2 people, easier. I only had 2 problems, one of the coop roofs spacers was stapled on and to glue it on to put screws in, also had one of the roof bracket holes was off about 1/2 a hole..also had to drill chicken ramp with different holes , other than those..everything went together good
