Many pieces were chipped and split when pulled out of the box. As u tried screwing in some of the screws wood would begin to split. Very flimsy material.

Comments about Boomer & George A-Frame Dog House with Food Bowl Tray and Storage Cubby - Large Size:

This dog house was very easy to put together. I really like the idea of having my dog's bowls and a storage in one place. It really helps with organization. One thing I did notice is that the tray for the bowls and the storage compartment do not attach to the house so the backs are open. However, they can be placed next to the house as seen in the picture to fix this. Overall, I really like this house so far. I'm not quite sure how it will fair in the weather since I always, put the dog house inside the garage for an overhead protection. So far my puppy likes it. She explored it a little after it was setup, but she's not ready to go outside to actually live in it yet.

Comments about Boomer & George A-Frame Dog House with Food Bowl Tray and Storage Cubby - Large Size:

I have a Beagle and I thought the house was going to big for him at first. I wanted to make sure I could fit a comfy bed inside so this worked out great. The door is a little low so I dont see a larger dog (German Shepard) or so getting in and out as comfy as my shorter dog. I paid for the $5. dollar shipping and I got it in a day and a half. I had no broken pieces but the box was a little beat up.. Set up was easy and took about 30 min.

Comments about Boomer & George A-Frame Dog House with Food Bowl Tray and Storage Cubby - Large Size:

I purchased large dog houses for my German Shepherds. The door is too short for a large dog. Once inside, there is plenty of room. More than their last house. The dog food tray and the storage unit only have 3 sides on them requiring them to sit up against the house. I personally, don't have a use for the storage unit and would prefer it to be an option for purchase. There is no door flap available for purchase for the winter months. i bought one from another dog house to modify for this house. We will also try to modify the shape of the door so my dogs can get in and out more easily. It's a beautiful dog house and packaged very well. I bought 3 and there was only slight damage on one of the dog food trays and one of the ridge caps had about a 3 inch crack in one of the edges and was easily fixed with a little glue. The condition exceeded my expectations. It was very easy to put together.
