Some of the anchors split in two necessitating the insertion of deck screws to hold the unit together. The shelves sagged as soon as I transferred my books from my other 10+ year old case (that NEVER sagged under the same load). Couldn't get the door below to close until I took out half of the books on the shelf. The finish can best be described as primitive.

LOOKS GREAT!!! IT TOOK ABOUT 2 HOURS TO PUT IT TOGETHER. I could not have done it by myselt but with 2 people, it took a reasonable amount of time. I would have paid extra for it to come fully assembled. It is exactly what I had thought it would look like and function.

I'm please with this bookcase. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble it by myself. I wish the glass doors were attached to the bookcase in a more sturdy fashion. They are on wooden pegs that slide in a groove. One of the knobs won't tighten, maybe it's stripped, but other than that it was a good buy. I love the creamy color. It has a feminine touch which I really like.
