I've only had this for a day but the car seat fits within its outline very well and helps stabilize the seat on our leather car seats. We were afraid that the added weight of a one year old with a new full toddler carseat was going to cause indentation in the leather, but after a long trip and several in and outs of the car, the leather is perfect just like it was before. Only negative is that it doesn't provide any coverage for leather seats in close range of toddler messes!
