The instruction booklet was 20 pages. Many, many pieces and parts. Some screws missing.Once assembled very nice and functional, but the assembly was challenging. My husband did it and he has skills. He used a drill and had to supplement parts provided with his supply. This would be very difficult for anyone w/o carpentry skills. Took about 3 hours.I would recommend it to someone only if I knew they had experience putting together challenging items.
