I bought this box to go on the front of my tandem axle trailer to store chains, binders and straps. First, it is a very sturdy box. I was pleased with the heft and the quality of the finish. The weight was only 51-lbs, not the 98-lbs shown on the website. Secondly, the packaging for shipping was just adequate. It was packed in a single-wall corrugated box and one of the corners was slightly damaged with the powdercoat finish removed. As I needed this box now and didn't want to ship it back, I accepted it as-is and did not return it. Third, as delivered, the lid would not stay closed or locked. I had to adjust the striker quite a bit to get it to reliably close and stay locked. Other than that, a nice box. Would consider buying again.

The only trailer frame mount toolbox built heavy enough to be secure. Nice heavy gauge steel. Good paint finish. Secure latch and holding lanyard when open. Great product!
