The elevated character of the Caroline Daybed-White-Free Mattress fuses structure and style with architecture and art, making a daybed fit for nobility. With a distinctive scrolled design, this daybed will add elegance and style to your room. The sleek, durable metal frame has a protective lacquer coating that will prevent chipping and discoloration. The white finish and simple, traditional design with four decorative finials make it an instant family heirloom. Daybed includes one free mattress and a link spring support.
For a great space-saving option to accommodate extra overnight guests, the Caroline Daybed can be ordered with an optional pop-up trundle, an additional metal bed frame that allows an extra twin-size mattress to pop up next to the daybed. This turns this standard twin-size daybed into a king-size bed. For easy storage, the trundle bed conveniently stows underneath the daybed when not in use. An additional mattress is available for purchase when you choose the trundle option.
Free mattresses available are Sleep Time Mattresses. This twin sized mattress is constructed of durable polyester knit and sports a 1/4 inch quilted fire barrier on the top and border. The smooth bottom panel is also flame resistant to keep you extra safe in the event of an emergency. The mattress is filled with a double layer of High Density Dream Soft polyurethane foam for added comfort. Mattress measures 73L x 37W x 5.75 inches
Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King mattress connector is available for purchase in the shopping cart.

We bought the bed for our 4 year old daughter. This is her transition into a big girl bed. She/we love the bed! The design is very pretty. It did take 2 people to put together. Even though its metal, it does scratch easy, so be careful when assembling. The free mattress is pretty thin and will probably have to be replaced after a year or so. All in all, the bed is sturdy and pretty which is what we were looking for.

Bought this daybed with the trundle without the mattress. The bed appears to be sturdy. Make sure when assembling the side panels you pay attention to the right and left sides. It would be helpful if there were stickers to designate the sides.

We bought this for my 2-year-old daughter's first "big girl bed." The mattress sits a little high but she is still able to get in and out with little problem. Her room is not that big so this bed fits perfectly.

The mattress for this daybed is about four inches thick and came folded in a box, this couldn't be comfortable for anyone to sleep on. The frame is not sturdy even though all screws are as tight as possible.
