I already had a container wormfarm. It was difficult maintain. I transfered my worms to the Worm Factory, it took two bins. 2 days latter the worms were much more active. No more sorting out the worms by hand!!! This is a great system. I wish I had started out with it. It is easy to move. I have it in the guest bedroom during the winter and easily move it out when I need the room

Comments about The Worm Factory® 360 Recycled Plastic Worm Composter - Green:

I loved everything, I feel the spicket could of been of better quality for the amount this product cost, and information on to what to do when the pumice is all gone and the minerals. Do we purchase more through you? Also having the worms accessible from your website would be great, around me there are no worm farms and to have them shipped takes a week (they could die easily in the heat).

            Other than that cool stuff!

Wow, this item shipped fast and arrived sooner than estimated. I could have ordered my worms sooner. Looks like everything you need to get started is in the kit. Manual has a lot of great info. I should have my worms next week. I can't wait to get started making some vermicompost for the spring.

                Customer Q & A

                1 Question About This Product
Q: "I ordered worms from you and they have arrived before my composter. What should I do with the worms until I get the compost bin?
A: The worms can last up to ten days in the packaging they arrived in. (Not the best, but they will last) Give them some water when they arrive.

If you're afraid they won't make it, you can make a temporary home for them instead. Put the worms into a plastic container about the size of a shoe box or bucket. Put some shredded black and white newsprint in the bottom that has been moistened (about the amount of a rung out sponge). This will act as food and bedding until your compost bin arrives and they can be placed into their new permanent home.
