I was thrilled with how quickly it arrived, how well it was packed, how easy it was to assemble. It looks great and is solid as a rock - good news for a family with a two-year-old sleeping in it. It went together in about 20 minutes!

I wasn't thinking about it when I purchased the mattresses, but the trundle mattress is a little too think to make it easy to roll the trundle in and out, so we put small blocks under the main bed to boost it up a bit. It isn't ideal, but makes day to day use easier (we use the top bed like a couch for playtime and pull the trundle out for sleeping so that the room looks a little neater). You can see the gap in the picture, but it isn't something worth worrying about in a toddler's room!

We would be very happy with the bed if it had been received by us in better condition. The paint job was sub-par, and there were numerous blemishes on the wood that were not due to shipping. The bed was easy to put together and looks good in the room. We put it in our office as a reading nook, and to use if our guest room is occupied. I would recommend it, but with qualifiers.

        Comments about Casey Daybed:

Love this daybed with trundle! Easy to put together. Very solid. It would have been nice if there were plugs to cover the screw holes on the front edge of bed, but other than that this bed is awesome!

We are very pleased with the quality of this daybed...I have other furniture items from the popular "barn" store and this bed is very similar in style and quality for much less money!...easy to assemble...the boxes were very heavy I was worried about damage but there was none...I ordered the full size and my tween daughter loves it...we filled it with tons of pillows and bright blankets...will be perfect into her teen/college years....we purchased the trundle because I thought the bed would look empty underneath without it...using for storage...rolls in and out fine on carpet.

                Comments about Casey Daybed:

I ordered the daybed and trundle in white (really an off-white) and assembled it myself with no other help thank you. Only problem was that a couple of holes in the trundle were not large enough for the bolts and I had to enlarge them. The bed is comfortable for extra seating and the occasional overnight guest. I would order it again.

                  Comments about Casey Daybed:

This bed is of incredible quality. I had my doubts based on looks alone but was proven wrong. I am 6'8" tall and weigh 325 lbs and regularly lay with my daughter each night and read her books without fear of breaking through! Well worth the extra money for the quality. We also just bought one for my son's room.

The only issue I had whatsoever was with the quality of the free matress...it is terrible. We use it for the trundle as a back up and bought a quality new one for the main bed.

                  Comments about Casey Daybed:

This bed is great if you are getting it for a spare bedroom when you have company once in awhile. It is NOT for an everyday sleeping. I bought 2 of these. Both of them have fallen apart in less than 6 months and my kids are 8 and 12. The slats are so thin, they broke within a few days on both beds. The bed is pretty to look at, but if you want to buy something to last, don't buy this brand. It was a lot of work to put together, and I would recommend a pop up trundle versus the pull out trundle.
