I order this cage for my canary bird. The cage is very well made,it's spacious, lightweight,very easy to put together,easy to clean-just pull out the tray and grill.It comes with two long perches and has a large door on the front.So I put some extra perches at the corners and only one long perch on the top. It looks perfect.My canary is very happy.

I use this product for all my birds that need a 1/2 inch bar width. I loved that my birds can exercise using the long length of this cage. I loved the large door that gives roomy access to the bird. However, for birds that one can't handle (canaries and finches) that would be a disadvantage. Birds don't like the plastic perches but I solved that problem by using branches from a tree as perches. I like being able to stack cages with a flat top and bottom. I'd recommend this cage to anyone who has birds that are hand trained.

This cage looks just like the image, and was very easy to assemble--I put it together in five minutess or less. I bought this cage to help control the seed splatter caused by my zebra finches--active birds whose wings fan seed hulls all over. Although this cage contains a "baffle" that's supposed to contain seed, it doesn't do its job.
Part of the problem is a design flaw concerning the cage try. each corner has a gap that allows debris to escape from the tray opening. There is also a gap between the cage tray, the flooring grill, and the opening where the cage tray slides out. The tray and grill come out smooothly, but the opening is too large, and allows debris to escape from the cage tray.
I would recommend redesigning the cage tray to eliminate gaps in the corners and to decrease the size of the cage tray opening.
I keep three pairs of zeba finches in this cage I have not set the birds up for breeding, but they seem to be very happy and have plenty of room for exercise. The size of the cage is rasonable, and not bulky. I also appreciate that the food and water cups are located near the floor of the cage. Far too many cages are designed with food cups at mid level, which allows for the spread of food waste.
I would recommend this cage to others, but plan on keeping a vacuum nearby! it does not fulfill its design for controlling the mess.
