The hottest trend in patio gardening is growing organic produce in your own backyard. Our Raised Patio Planter is perfect for this popular hobby. Not only is it harder for critters to get into, it also makes maintaining the garden less of a painstaking task. One raised planter box is perfect for the rooftop gardener, or line up multiple units to create a local Farmer's Market right outside your backdoor. We chose Cedar for the construction of the Raised patio Planter because it is lightweight, durable, and resistant to cracking and moisture rot.

I ordered 3 of these to plant a fall garden. Pros are that the height is perfect so I won't break my back, I can reach all areas from each side, and I won't kill myself kneeling. The cedar seems to be nice wood and my husband said it went together well. The cons are that these are packed inadequately. 2 of the 3 I ordered had broken pieces on arrival, and had to be sent back. The first one had the hardware loose all over in the package. To send them back, we had to use a LOT of tape to reinforce the box, and it looked like Fed Ex had reinforced the first one before they delivered it. These are too nicely made to not pack appropriately for safe shipping, so it is a real shame.

This is a nice looking product. However, it is not well packed and there were broken pieces that we had to fix before assembling. Overall I am happy with it as it is just what i needed for herbs and fits perfectly in a sunny place near my kitchen. Reasonable value for the money.

The wood for the legs was split. One side panel was shipped with the legs in backwards! The lack of attention to detail for the price was very disappointing.

Planter is not well made. Broken piece was repaired with wood putty at factory. The fix did not hold because it was made over a knot hole. Hayneedle is sending me another planter. I ordered two planters, both needed fixing in several places. I am a DIY person so I mended the product in several places, all except the broken support board. One planter is now in better shape than when it arrived.

The shipment arrived in time and was well packaged. There was a small split in one wall panel but I don't think it will compromise the planter.
Have not put it to practial use yet but it really looks like it will work hust great. It was a little awkward to start assembling but overall quite easy.
