Better than expected Quality and Service

By Bruce L

from BRADENTON,FL

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Clarity
  • Dual Focussing Knobs
  • Power
  • VALUE FOR THE MONEY

Cons

  • Requires A Solid Stand

Best Uses

  • Fine Detail At Distance
  • Spotting scope

Purchased after a long look for a spotting scopes for ranges out to 1100 yards. The 67 power was a little high due to the midday summer heat waves we have in Florida. but even at 45X it was extremely clear and sharp at 1000 yards. higher powers where used that day easily spotting shots at 300 yards of a 270 on cream colored paper. Our winter time or cooler climates could only increase the great performance.
"Special note here is that the front of the scope slides forward to lesson glare"..

Best Priced ED Glass Spotting Scope

By Bird King

from Crowell, TX

Pros

  • Best Value With Ed Glass

Cons

  • No tripod

Best Uses

  • Long Distance Birding

I looked around to find a high quality ED glass spotting scope and this was the one. I have used Celestron for astronomy and I know they make great telescopes. This was $300 lees than what I could find with ED glass, so I went for it. Wow, this was a great bargain. It was crisp across the entire field, almost no fringing, and built really well. It was fairly light as well for 100mm, so very pleased overall.
