I had to fix it because the colimation was very bad when I got them.
There were two images and impossible to use.
Becouse I live in Monterrey Mexico,it was very difficult to return it to the USA..so I had to fix it here with a professional engienier.. it cost me 50 dollars..but now it is perfect.
The moon, jupiter and the his moons, the rings of saturn, the orion nebula are very clear.
I live in a house up in the montain and the view to the city of Monterrey is spectacular, so the binoculars are very good to see every thing down there.

These binoculars suffer from severe chromatic aberration. This is a defect of optical lenses where different wavelengths (producing different colors) are diffracted, or bent, at different angles and produce colored halos around images. I experienced green and blue halos when observing. These types of defects are commonly seen were all the optics that are not fully multi-coated. I cannot recommend these binoculars for any use with this type of defect.[...]

Comments about Celestron SkyMaster 25x100mm Individual Focus Astronomy Binoculars:

Haven't had a chance to use them for night sky viewing yet and hope they work OK. Very hard to open and close to fit the eyes. Maybe that can be loosened. Lens caps don't snap on and come off too easily. Also do not especially like that it has separate focus for each eye and not one central knob for focusing. Instruction sheet is generic and doesn't have specifics for these binoculars.

Comments about Celestron SkyMaster 25x100mm Individual Focus Astronomy Binoculars:

Only fault I can see is the clamp knob really does not hold it steady very well. Would be better designed if the bar had a flat edge to get more contact with the screw.
