This coop is inexpensive, attractive, assembles in less than one hour, made of quality materials.
It is small; we have 3 hens living in it.
My husband added some hook & eye latches and barrel latches to the doors for added security ( to preempt any activity by raccoons, foxes, weasels).
He also added 1 door to the coop. THe interior does not have a door at the ladder/ramp that leads down to the ground. At night, we send the hens in and latch this door that he built.
ALso, if you buy a standard sized waterer, you will find that it does not fit easily through the bottom screened door. It fits, but not easily.

I purchased this coop to hold two bantams and two easter eggers. The assembly of the product was quick and easy. The instructions were easy to understand. I am disappointed in the lack of sturdiness of the product. It moves and wiggles when you push on it a little. I will need to invest in a larger, more permanent coop this summer. I don't foresee this coop lasting long or through much weather. You will need to upgrade two latches and install some type of predator proof flooring or skirting. I am concerned how the coop will hold up in the winter or how warm it may or may not be during cold nights and snowy weather. [...] I will use this coop on a temporary basis, while I build my own sturdier, longer lasting coop this summer. I would not have bought this coop for this price if I had a chance to see it in person. It would make a great bunny house.

Comments about Boomer & George Deluxe Chicken Coop:

This coop is a very nice coop, it came with some pieces damaged but heyneedle was quick to send me a new one. Although it says good for four to six chickens I wouldn't put more than three in there it is smaller than I thought but still very nice for a first time chicken owner.

But some pieces were broken off when shipment arrived. Was still able to put together. Very cute. Let's hope it can withstand weather conditions.

Comments about Boomer & George Deluxe Chicken Coop:

This coop really looks as good as the picture. I watched the video, so I knew the small size of the coop, and how easy it would be to put together. My two chickens love it. The outside accessible nest box is great. So easy to collect eggs. I should have purchased the add on exercise yard, for more room, and an area to put my feeder and water tower. I will order that, next month. The coop arrived in good time, and was well packed. Because of the shipping handling there were some slight nicks and damage, but nothing major.
We like it so much, my husband thinks I should buy another one, for our rouge rooster, "Styx" (named because he hides in a pile of sticks, to get away from our other rooster, "Thor")

Comments about Boomer & George Deluxe Chicken Coop:

I had some problems with the first coop I ordered. It has some broken pieces in the box. But Hayneele was quick to send return packing lables and then quick to send in the refund. I reorded it and it came the same week. It is a very nice little coop for the backyard. It looks very cute. The only thing I think it really needs is a small sliding door on the inside to close off the ramp door. The winters here in OK get pretty cold and I think tish is too much open space for the cold nights here. So I'm going to add a small sliding door myself. also I would have liked to have an area on the inside to hang their water and food. Working that out in my head and then on the coop. All in all I'm very pleased with it. One other thing I would like to add at a later date is a longer chicken run to come out to the side of it.
