There's plenty of room for activity inside, plus the flat top design allows for even more area outside the cage for your bird to perch or play. The versatile playtop is removable, so it can be used on the cage or lifted off for use as a separate portable play area.
This bird cage is 63 inches high and uses 3/16-inch gauge wire to ensure long-lasting durability. And since your bird's safety is a top priority, 3/4-inch bar spacing has been used on the Chiquita Playtop Bird Cage. In addition, the cage has a bird-proof lock; just twist to the right to lock and to the left to loosen. The overall height of this cage (up to the crossbar perch) is 63 inches.

This is an ideal cage for medium sized parrots. The playtop is well designed. No tools needed to assemble other than rubber mallet when additional "push" is needed. I had the same cage prior, but needed to replace due to wear and tear.
