It's better than the classic because the chair folds like an accordion and is lightweight with the pure lines of a butterfly chair design. This chair was so easy to set up and assemble. It was as simple as donning a coat. It fit right into my son's dorm room. He says it's comfortable but not so comfortable that he can fall asleep over his textbooks.
