This purchase of the clear for life 40 gallon aquarium is one of the best purchases I've ever made. The price is reasonable and the tank is absolutely beautiful. It is everything I was hoping it would be. The tank is so bright and pretty. My fishes love the tank as well, now they have a lot of room to swim in. Bought an LED lighting fixture to complement the aquarium. Acrylic does scratch easily so you need to find the proper cleanig tool for this tank. Other than that, The tank is light durable and a great choice if you are looking for the best acrylic aquarium for your pets!

The product is great when compared to a glass aquarium. The only down sides are the lamp, the filter attachment, and the feeding hood. I was expecting an actual lamp system, but I used the lamp from my old aquarium in its place. The filter attachment was a little small for a large filter, but with some elbow greese and some underwater accembly that was taken care of without damaging the aquarium. The feeding hood has a plastic bar seperating one side from the other. This is fine as long as the fish don't get too hudge. I have a growing koi fish and I'm afraid it might get too big for the opening one day.

I think this is a great tank for someone who is just getting into keeping larger fish and aquariums. The acrylic is lighter than glass and provides for better visibility. The only drawback is that the lid doesn't open like a regular tank.
