Comments about Clek Oobr Booster Seat - Blue Moon:
We had the Orbit baby system of stroller / car seat / infant seat and were very satisfied with it. Clek and the Oobr Booster seat feel like the logical progression. Great design and good looking. Easy to install. Hopefully same great resale value.
From the Clek line, we chose the Oobr because once the back is not needed it can be removed and you still have the base. We also liked the selection of colors. If we buy another we may get the Paul Frank licensed design.
Only concern which turned out to be not a problem was the back - it seems like it moves around but apparently it is supposed to - that is part of how the recline function works. Basically if you recline your vehicle seat, it will move with it. It wasn't clear if it was supposed to be this way, but we watched some of Clek's videos on youtube and I noticed it there too. Not enough to remove 1 star from the rating, but Clek's product marketing people might want to call this issue out more to minimize potential returns for those who think it is a defect and don't do the research.
I will say that we didn't shop around for lower priced options, but given the price / value we got from our Orbit, I didn't hesitate to pay the price for Clek. I hate that it is generally true - you get what you pay for (unless the company or retailer is trying to gain market share).
