About Fir Wood

Like Cedar, the grain is usually straight and displays prominent growth rings and knots.

Great chairs!! We received the chairs and after putting the first one together in about 10 minutes, my 11 year old son asked to try the other. He was able to manage it all by himself. You only need a philips head screwdirver, so he was easily able to complete it in about 15 minutes. We are very impressed with the chairs, they look great and are extremly comfortable!!

Right arm rest cracked as soon as I sat in chair for first time, and I weigh 140 lbs. Replacement chair I was sent then cracked in one of backrest boards as soon as I built it, picking it up to put it on my deck. It was laughable. Very poor quality wood and construction. Feels like balsa wood. Would never order again.

I bought 2 of these chairs. They were easy to put together, but each one came with a damaged left arm. the company sent out a replacement chair, but that one also had a damaged left arm. I am hesitant on buying any more.

Actually we ordered the set of 2 chairs with the table. The chairs are easy to assemble and look great in our backyard. We really like them because they remind us of our time spent in Maine which we loved. The chairs are comfortable and look great under our big oak tree which shades us in this 100+ degree heat in Texas.
