Comments about Creekvine Designs 58 in. Cedar Entertaining Buffet Table:
The wood is basically unfinished. I wiped it down with lemon oil and one of the legs turned very dark and does not match the other three. There were a few gouges in the table top that were filled with some type of putty which turned white when rubbed with the lemon oil. The two lower shelves are unsupported and, I am sure, will start to sag if anything weighing more than a pound or two is stored on them for any length of time. I thought the table would be made of a more durable hardwood. The wood is actually quite soft. We turned the table so that the off color leg is in the back, and we covered the table top with a table runner to conceal the putty job. If I bought the table at a discount house and paid $100 for it, I'd be happy enough. For the $430 I paid, I am very disappointed. Would return it, but repacking and shipping is too much of a hassle.
