It's a beautiful mantel. Does not come with hardware but I was informed that it did. The other thing that was annoying was that the product did not come with the essential piece: the hanging board. Had to call customer service, who informed me that Hayneedle doesn't replace parts. I had to call the actual manufacturer, who happily sent me the missing piece. Was not pleased with this.

The Mantel Shelf looks nice and is great for its price, but the mounting unit is horribly designed. Your Mantel will be nice an crooked unless you go out and buy/make a new one; at least that was my case. *Careful when putting up, the bottom of the shelf is very weak and flimsy and will most likely chip if they didn't make your mounting board nice and even.
