Easy to use, came with trivet to raise foods up from the bottom (I always spent time looking for my other trivets that never fit the old machine, another brand). Thanks so much for very prompt shipping as well.

      • Manual is not fabulous

      Best Uses

I got the pressure cooker to make beans and stews after I get home from work. I had used one of the old Presto manual cookers in my youth that were pretty scary. This one is very safe and easy. I like the fact that you can brown meat and vegetables in the unit before pressure-cooking. The unit takes up a fairly large footprint in my kitchen, but I think it's worth it. Beans came out great, fully intact but soft. There are two things you need to know that aren't entirely obvious from the manual: (1) there is a small plastic piece that is called the condensation collector that needs to be put on the unit -- you may not notice it in the package. (2) The steam release valve has two positions, marked on the top of the valve , that correspond to the embossed circle on the lid. One allows pressure to be built up and the other releases the pressure. The valve sort of floats--it's not tightened.

Great for cooking meats and beans. Totally safe
and easy to use. After the time you set for the
pressure cooker is done it has a keep warm feature
that keeps your food warm without drying out.
I have it three weeks and have been bragging to
              my friends about it.

I use this to can fish and for beef stew, the stew is ready in 20 minutes, and this pressure
cooker is so easy to use. I wouldn't give it up! I can only can 4 jars of fish at a time but I can
walk away and not worry about it or have to watch over it.

So far I love the convenience of the electric pressure cooker. It cooks most vegetables in five minutes or less. I love the way the liner lifts out and is immersible.
