Description

With the capacity for storing up to 54 bottles and sophisticated, stainless steel-framed French doors, this wine cooler is highly functional and will look fabulous in your home. Store up to 27 bottles in each side, and use the dual temperature zones to keep white and red wines perfectly chilled. Each compartment can be set to maintain a temperature between 39 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit, and it's easy to accurately set and monitor the settings thanks to the precise digital thermostat with LED display. Consistent internal temperatures are maintained by the frost-free, fan-forced cooling system and the digital thermostat. This offers more consistency than an automatic defrost system. The interior is illuminated with cool blue LED lighting to showcase the wine without the heat that's created by an incandescent bulb. Your wine has extra protection thanks to the tinted, tempered-glass doors. This wine cooler is designed for freestanding or built-in use.

The unit failed after four hours - the temperature on one side jumped to 80 degrees, after loading some very expensive wine. Terrible quality control

Comments about Danby DWC2727BLS Built-In or Free Standing Dual Zone 54-Bottle Wine Refrigerator:

I ordered the refrigerator as part of our new kitchen remodel which I've completed as a one man show over the past 6 months. The kitchen and the breakfast nook combined equal 500 sqft. so I decided to splurge and add a built-in wine bar with built-in refrigerator. Unfortunately while it does all other things well, the refrigerator is so loud when the compressor kicks in (which is more often than I'd like) that the dog jumps from his slumber and begins to bark at it in tangents. It also grumbles fairly constantly so he sits in front of it and turns his head back and forth trying to figure out where the gremlins inside are. Sadly, I feel we spent enough money on it to expect a more discrete unit that can be heard over the TV.
