This is a neat, small cuckoo clock. It's not exactly as it looks in the picture. When we opened the package, the top antler on the deer was broken. After calling the company, they resolved the matter in a decent manner. Overall, we were satisfied.

I thought this would be a little bigger. I figured 9 inches didn't include the pendulum, but it does. I also didn't receive the pinecones which was rather annoying. I thought it would make noise which it doesnt do that either. not what i thought at all.

I knew it would be small, but the picture makes it look like the door opens for a cuckoo bird. I wanted a clock for my friend and she wanted one that cuckoos but it makes no noise. I thought surely that for almost $100 it would at least make a noise even with no cuckoo bird. So I paid all that money for a clock the size of my hand (I'm 5ft. tall)that is too small to read from even halfway across the room and makes no noise. It is made of wood, which is nice, but the back is plastic.
